Mr. Rounds has extensive trial experience in all aspects of litigation, involving claims for damages for injury to person and property resulting from construction and premises accidents; products liability; general liability; breach of warranty and torts. He currently represents, Patterson Insurance Company In Liquidation, The Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club, Inc., Rodgers & Rodgers Enterprises, LLC., The State of Louisiana and The City of New Orleans. Rounds has provided representation for The Friends of King School Districts, entertainment artist Doug E. Fresh, the late entertainment artist Teena Marie, and is an Essence Music Festival corporate partner.
Rounds actively serves on the Board of Directors of the Friends of King School Districts. He also holds membership in several professional and civic organizations including the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, the National Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association; as well as the Louis A. Martinet Society, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Zulu Social, Aid and Pleasure Club, Inc., and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
Kenya Rounds focuses his practice on civil law. Since 2001, he has been diversified-- engaging in personal injury, entertainment, commercial and criminal defense, and has successfully litigated hundreds of cases in Louisiana State and Federal Courts. He received a JD from the Southern University Law Center, and a BA from Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
